Biomedical engineer, specialized in bio-materials for regenerative medicine. She obtained a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2020, after the period spent at the Newcastle University (UK), where different polymer blends (based on PLLA, PCL and PHBV) with the addition of doped nanoparticles were developed for the creation of filaments for extrusion-based 3D printing technologies. 
PhD in Bioengineering and Medical-Surgical Sciences, focused on the development of a bicomponent device for the regeneration of bone tissue after osteosarcoma resection. The activity led to the collaboration with Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), where she spent few months for the biological characterization of the materials. 
Currently working in the frame of PRIN 2022 PNRR FOCAL "Fiber optics sensors as a platform for cancer diagnosis and in vitro model testing", especially in the materials development for the electrospinning and functionalization of the fiber optics.
