Best presentation prize in Bioceramics 2023!

From 17 to 20 October 2023, the 33rd Bioceramics Conference was held in Solothurn, Switzerland, in conjunction with the annual meeting of the international society for Ceramics in Medicine (ISCM). On this occasion, our PhD student Ilaria Corvaglia, accompanied by Professor Chiara Vitale Brovarone and Professor Sonia Fiorilli, presented a new concept of a bi-functional scaffold for bone regeneration after osteosarcoma resection obtained by combining innovative coaxial electrospinning techniques and the production of porous sponges loaded with nanohydroxyapatite. Thanks to this work, she was awarded the prize for the best presentation.
