Tentacle Kick-off meeting in Wurzburg!
Between January 20 and 21, the kick-off meeting of TENTACLE project (Horizon Europe HLTH-2024-TOOL-11-02-Bioprinting of living cells for regenerative medicine) took place in Würzburg University, hosted by the Project Cordinator, Professor Jürgen Groll and his fantastic team. The event provided a valuable opportunity for the ten academic and industrial partners involved in this ambitious project to exchange ideas and to discuss the project activities. TENTACLE project aims at developing an innovative patient-specific strategy to regenerate the colorectal mucosa and submucosa by exploiting an AI-empowered in situ bioprinting system. In this scenario, POLITO IRIS team (Professor Chiara Vitale Brovarone, Professor Sonia Fiorilli, PhD student Francesco Fiore) will develop micro- and nano- particles composed of different polymers (PLA copolymers, poly-saccharides) by spray-drying technique to release antibiotic and antifibrotic drugs.
