Welcome Ilaria, the new PhD student of the group

After her Master's Thesis carried out in the frame of H2020 GIOTTO project in collaboration with the IRIS group and the Newcastle University, she is ready to start her activity focusing on the creation of a vertebral body model based on human TAC scans. 

During the master's thesis she developed a composite materials based on polymeric matrices and inorganic phases with the ability to release pro-osteogenic ions to improve bone regeneration.
